Dear Haselbury Ward Residents,
VERY SUCCESSFUL 100 DAYS VIGIL EVENT
Hundreds of people turned up on Saturday, 4 April 2009 outside the Weir Hall Library site, adjacent to Millfield Theatre, to commemorate the 100 days since the closure of Weir Hall Library. People have asked for the return of the Library and they have pledged to continue to campaign until the Library is finally reinstated at the site. There will be a string of campaigns during the year and please have a look on the website www.haselburyward.com for future events.
I would like to thank all those who participated and am looking forward to seeing even more people at our future events.
The campaign will continue and the Labopur councillors are committee to bringing back the Library at Millfield Arts Complex site with additional facilities.
